Mémoire de quartiers
Descriptif
Dans la cadre de son développement social, ALOTRA encouragent les habitants à participer à des actions autour de la mémoire de leur quartier.
Completed actions
The meeting of young people from the LA LOUBIERE (Manosque) neighborhood and the Flu-O collective encourages an introduction to photography but above all helps them to express their experience, their feelings in this phase of metamorphosis of their neighborhood linked to the construction of 22 houses that will replace their current home: the caravan . This action is part of the project "Journey Identity Memory" of the association Éclat de Lire supported by ALOTRA and which led to the publication of a book and a DVD "Tell me La Loubière" and presented at the MJC in Manosque, as part of the Youth Book Festival.
The intervention of Ricardo Montserrat, writer-in-residence in Martigues on the district of Bargemont (as well as the other neighborhood houses) during several months allows to collect the emotions, the stories, the desires, or to revive the memories of the inhabitants of the district. The culmination of this long-term work led to a show L'Amour Fou at the Théâtre des Salins, on the occasion of the Odyssey of the readers, a major cultural event in Martigues.
It will be necessary to wait until June 2018 to see the texts and photos elaborated with the children and the parents and accompanied by People and Culture. This work of memory seems to be essential for children to know the story of their family and their neighborhood.
