Accommodation

FROM VERY SOCIAL HOUSING AND ACCOMPANIED HOUSING UNDER COMMON LAW
Very social and supported accommodation meets a need at a given time. It enables implementation of a Housing solution fitting the life and housing background of the person or household. According to circumstances, that means finding accommodation because of professional transfer, or training course, which is the case with civil servants, students, or after breaking up or home eviction… There are numbers of reasons for losing a home and this can be lived with more or less difficulty.

For a vulnerable public, very social and supported accommodation is the first step to hope. Supportive housing is a particularly favourable context to establish a contact and start an individualized social and educational family action, aiming at socializing with the neighbourhood and its surroundings.

Whatever the type of action offered, it helps people towards social integration through a bottom-up process, based on daily problems, accommodation needs (budget management, housekeeping, administrative formalities, house- hunting, regular payment of rent…) which then leads towards an easier professional integration.
